As one of the largest dental fairs in Scandinavia, Swedental provided the perfect arena to demonstrate how immersive VR can transform patient experience, reduce anxiety, and support a calmer, more efficient clinical workflow.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"721\" data-end=\"1001\">Throughout all three days, our booth was filled with continuous activity. Dentists, dental hygienists, assistants, clinic managers and students stopped by to learn more about how VR can be integrated into everyday dental care, and most importantly, they got to try it themselves.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1003\" data-end=\"1289\">Visitors explored our calming underwater environments, experienced guided breathing techniques, and tested our child-focused Bamse VR world, designed specifically to help younger patients stay calm, still and engaged during treatment. The immediate reactions spoke for themselves:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"1290\" data-end=\"1470\">\n<li data-start=\"1290\" data-end=\"1338\">\n<p data-start=\"1292\" data-end=\"1338\"><em data-start=\"1292\" data-end=\"1336\">\u201cI didn\u2019t know VR could be this relaxing.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1339\" data-end=\"1390\">\n<p data-start=\"1341\" data-end=\"1390\"><em data-start=\"1341\" data-end=\"1388\">\u201cThis would really help my anxious patients.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1391\" data-end=\"1470\">\n<p data-start=\"1393\" data-end=\"1470\"><em data-start=\"1393\" data-end=\"1470\">\u201cThe Bamse version is brilliant, this will make treatment so much easier.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1472\" data-end=\"1615\">The overwhelmingly positive feedback reinforced what we already know, VR is becoming an essential tool for modern, patient-centered dentistry.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1668\" data-end=\"1928\"><span data-start=\"1717\" data-end=\"1744\">Dental fear and anxiety<\/span> affects nearly 40% of the Swedish population. Clinics expressed a growing need for innovative tools that can reduce patient stress and enhance overall treatment experience. Mindergy\u2019s VR distraction therapy addresses this need by helping patients shift focus away from anxiety-triggering stimuli and into calming, immersive environments.
